Since I’m the type of kid that can’t sit still or sleep in, it was my parents who decided to put me in ski racing. Something that one wouldn’t really think of as a sport for their eight year old kid, frankly, because on the playground, I ate rocks and ran around pretending to be a horse. Snow and mountain air held no spot in my mind at the time.
I decided to start a blog about ski racing and its many funny experiences and reality TV-worthy drama because I know that even if you don’t ski race, you’ll love it anyways. Cheers to adventure, kiddies.
Ski racing is a sport that I feel is one of the most unknown and secretive sports ever. No one sees us. No one knows what ski racing is all about, really–all they think about is the tight suits and the known tendency of us crashing into people because we go too fast.
If you’re a lover of ski racing, alpine skiing or just a lover of funny stories, drama and writing in general, kick your feet up, grab a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy the ride, because heck, it’s gonna be a good one.
